Foreign professional internships for Kopernik’s IT and electronics technicians in Spain

A group of 15 students from Kęty Kopernik studying IT technician and electronics technician occupations took part in a two-week professional internship in Alicante, Spain.

The participants of the trip, carried out under the project Erasmus+ 2020-1-PL01- KA116-079364 „International professional internships as a key to the success of future employees of the European Union”, learned about the principles of operation of industry enterprises. Under the supervision of foreign internship supervisors, they performed the tasks assigned to them.

The professional internships also provided an opportunity to discover the heritage of the host country.

During the cultural program carried out in their free time, the students learned about the sights of Alicante, and visited sunny Murcia.  They visited Cartagena, located on the Mediterranean coast, with its famous ruins of a Roman amphitheater. A visit to Elche provided an opportunity to admire the UNESCO-listed palm groves that have existed continuously since ancient times, the largest in Europe.

The project 2020-1-PL01- KA116-079364 „International work placements as a key to success for future employees of the European Union” is implemented with the support of the European Union’s Erasmus+ program. The coordinators of the project are teachers of the Mikolaj Kopernik District Complex No. 10 of Mechanical-Electrical Schools in Kęty, M.Sc. Dorota Gawron and M.Sc. Urszula Kudłacik.
