In April of this year, students from our school’s IT technical program had the unique opportunity to participate in vocational internships abroad on the island of Crete. During their time in an international environment, they not only developed their professional skills but also immersed themselves in the culture, history, and traditions of Greece. Upon their return, they shared their knowledge with younger classmates.
During a series of cultural workshops, the students, divided into groups, conducted sessions for their younger peers. The main theme was the picturesque island of Crete – a place they had the chance to explore during their internships. In their presentations, they talked about the island’s history, culture, landscapes, and unique local traditions. Thanks to their personal experiences and practical approach, the students conveyed the information in an engaging and inspiring manner.
The aim of these workshops was not only to provide information but also to encourage younger students to embrace new experiences and broaden their horizons. The personal accounts of their time in Greece, enriched with individual insights, captivated the participants and sparked their curiosity about the world.
Initiatives like this are an excellent opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and inspiration, as well as promoting international cooperation and gaining experience beyond the borders of one’s own country. We would like to thank all the students for their commitment and enthusiasm in sharing their passion!
